Tanta Italia tra i vincitori dell’8° Concorso Ocean Art Underwater Photo Contest

Il prestigioso concorso Ocean Art pubblica le classifiche dell’edizione 2019, l’ottava, che ha attirato concorrenti internazionali di altissimo calibro e foto da tutti gli oceani. Tutte le foto premiate sono visibili nella Underwater Photography Guide

Come best of show è stata scelta la foto di Greg Lecoeur, che ritrae una foca mentre manovra tra i ghiacci dell’Antartico. Ma non è l’unico scatto da brividi tra quelli inviati da concorrenti di 78 paesi.

Della giuria facevano parte nomi prestigiosi, come i fotografi subacquei Tony Wu, Martin Edge, Marty Snyderman. I premi in palio totalizzavano 85000 $, tra crociere subacquee, soggiorni, attrezzature.

Eccezionale la qualità delle immagini, suddivise in ben 16 categorie. Il proprietario di Bluewater Photo and Travel e editore di Underwater Photography Guide, Scott Gietler, ha commentato: “Resto attonito davanti alle magnifiche immagini che oggi i fotografi subacquei producono. Le due nuove categorie, Conservation e Blackwater, si distinguono da subito e hanno prodotto immagini emozionanti, specialmente le premiate nella categoria Conservation, che mi auguro influenzeranno le nuove generazioni di conservazionisti.
